Energy Services
This activity includes the company’s active participation in the electric power and oil services sector, being among the most important foundations of national economies. Therefore, our company has specialized in providing its services to governmental, foreign, and investment companies through the following sectors:
A. Electric Power Transmission Sector:
Includes the construction of substations, preparation of designs for 132 kV and 400 kV power transmission lines, supply of their materials and accessories (towers, insulators, wires, communication lines…), execution of line installation works, supply of equipment required for implementation, maintenance of lines, towers, and stations, and laying 132 kV and 400 kV power cables between stations.
B. Electric Power Distribution Sector:
Includes the construction of 33/11 kV secondary stations, supply of materials (cables, transformers, control and monitoring devices…), execution of works related to 33 kV and 11 kV feeder and source lines, connection of cables between stations, implementation of station expansion projects, and electrification of cities.
C. Electric Power Generation Sector:
Includes the construction and rehabilitation of power plants in partnership with specialized international companies, which possess the capability to supply materials and equipment and execute works in accordance with approved standard specifications.

1. Saheel Al-Mortajez Company’s completed projects for 2017–2018
Projects related to power transmission in Nineveh Governorate executed for the General Directorate of Northern Electricity Transmission :
Rehabilitation of Al-Sharqiya Secondary Power Station 132 kV, Contract No. 9 dated 27/3/2017, duration 30 days, completed.
Repair, construction, installation, and reconnection of collapsed towers for (Mansour–Yarmja 1 & 2) 132 kV lines and (Ultra High Voltage – East Mosul) 400 kV line, Contract No. 201 dated 28/5/2017, duration 25 days, completed.
Repair of towers on Nineveh Gas – Baiji 400 kV line, type XYA, Contract No. 311 dated 13/9/2017, duration 28 days, completed.
Other emergency projects for linking the national grid, including:
Repair of broken conductors south of Mosul 132 kV
Repair of Mansour–Mishraq 132 kV line
Replacement of insulator sets on Qayara–Sharqat line
Modification and casting of tower foundations on Mansour–Yarmja lines
Repair of Mishraq–Adaiya line
Repair of Teal conductors from Al-Mamun neighborhood to Mosul Ultra High Voltage Station
Repair of CAAA conductors on Mosul 400–East Mosul 400 kV lines
Rehabilitation of Kirkuk–Baiji 400 kV transmission line, Contract No. 57 dated 12/6/2018, duration 37 days.
2. Saheel Al-Mortajez Company’s projects with UNDP under J.V partnership, 2018
Rehabilitation of Al-Tahrir Secondary Station 132 kV in Nineveh – Mosul, in partnership with Mado Electrical Contracting Company, Contract No. P/AM396/18 dated 30/7/2018, duration 6 months, completed for UNDP.
Rehabilitation of Al-Sharqiya Secondary Station 132 kV in Nineveh, same partnership, Contract No. P/AM452/18 dated 4/8/2018, duration 8 months, completed for UNDP.
Supply and implementation of 33 kV feeders from Mansour Secondary Station 132 kV to Al-Dawasa 33–11 kV Station in Mosul, in partnership with Mado, Contract No. P/AM674/18 dated 1/11/2018, completed in 4 months for UNDP.
3. Saheel Al-Mortajez Company’s completed projects with government departments and Iraqi/foreign companies, 2022
Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage equipment with service transformers and 1 MVA generators at the Grand State Mosque/Nineveh, executed under Contract No. 580 dated 20/1/2022, for the Prime Minister’s Office / Sunni Endowment Authority / Nineveh Endowment Directorate, in partnership with JADEX, duration 120 days, started 24/1/2022 and completed 23/5/2022.
